My relationship with coffee had reached its limit and I needed an energy source that would support my long days without harming my wellbeing. When matcha entered my life, something clicked. It gave me clarity, focus, and a gentler kind of vitality. That moment of transformation planted a seed that later became Bmatcha.
Creating this brand was never about following a trend. Everything started long before matcha became a global sensation in 2025. Every step was researched, tested, questioned, and refined. If matcha helped me move through life with more balance, I knew it could help others too. Bmatcha grew from that simple intention.

The company name represents more than a business. It reflects a relationship built with farmers in Shimane, Japan, where my matcha is harvested with techniques passed down through six generations. Visiting the fields and the factory in April 2025 changed everything. Meeting the family behind the craft showed me the humility and passion that shape every leaf.
We follow traditional Japanese methods from start to finish. The leaves are shaded, hand picked, steamed, dried, processed into tencha, then ground slowly on stone mills. This respect for detail is what creates the vibrant, fine matcha that Bmatcha offers. Two of my matchas now hold Swiss organic recognition through Bio Inspecta, something that required patience but felt essential for transparency and trust.

The brand today offers a variety of ceremonial and flavored matchas including vanilla, cinnamon, lemongrass, and chocolate. Accessories like handmade ceramic mugs, thermos bottles, and glasses help turn matcha into a calming daily ritual. I also introduced a matcha bar for events and created samples so people can explore and discover what truly fits their taste.
Growth has not been without challenges. The global matcha shortage of 2025 changed many of my plans and forced difficult decisions. Yet compromising quality was never an option. Bmatcha will always honor the rhythm of nature and the work of the farmers. Expanding the brand matters, but not at the cost of authenticity.
